Job Description
Basic Function: 
 
Supervises and coordinates all operational and engineering activities related to Drilling Fluids (cement) and related equipment in safe and cost effective manner.
Manages and handles all matters related to cement contracts and Budget.
Handles all matters related to tendering & procurement process for material and services.
Reviews, updates and implements manuals, policies and standards.
Prepares cementing programs and instructions, coordinate with other group in Drilling / Support Business Unit.
 
Worked Performed: 
 
Plans, coordinates and directs the activities of assigned personnel in Cement group in operations involved in the Drilling programs. Ensure deliverance of high quality, efficient, safe well work and meeting company's objectives.
Reviews the Drilling Fluids Operations on daily basis and in charge on change in the priorities, utilization of resources, assignment of personnel and budget in the light of accomplishments and changing operating conditions.
Directs and supervises the work fluids cement contractors, ensure that such contractors carry out required work according to Company specifications and safety regulations and approve payment on invoices.
Organizes and chairs the monthly meeting with cementing contractors' representatives.
Reviews and discuss fluids section performance Vs set KPI with DTSTL and TL's in as required established frequency basis of DD meetings.
Carries frequent visit to the Rig (s) for group safety meeting, self-inspection and self-auditing to ensure all equipment and units properly maintained and meet Company safety standards.
Reviews risk assessment and special procedures for non-routine operations and activities.
Discusses end of well review lesson learnt recommendations and required actions during bi weekly DD meeting with DD Management.
Reviews special program and handling procedures for nonstandard well service operations and review product and / or new associated equipment / tools and / or new techniques / methods applications.
Coordinates QA/QC for any chemicals / additive supply to Company with Laboratory.
Works in line with HSE policy, and ensure awareness and compliance of HSE rules and regulations by subordinates.
Desired Candidate Profile
Minimum Requirements:
 
Bachelor Degree in Petroleum, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering or any relevant engineering degree.
10 years' experience in Drilling Fluids, Cementing and Well Engineering, Including 5 years in offshore operation and 3 years in a supervisor capacity.
Good Knowledge of English.
