Job Description
Basic Function:
• Carries out safety inspections of equipment and site activities to ensure adherence to safety procedures.
• Assists Safety Engineer in coaching and supervising contractors’ site personnel.
• Ensures work sites are properly prepared for all activities under the Permit to Work System.
• Conducts demonstrations including safe use of equipment and personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Patrols sites to monitor proper safety performance.
• Acts as back-up in emergencies.
Desired Candidate Profile
Minimum Requirements:
• Completion of Secondary Education (12 years).
• Aged 30 – 50 with excellent health as 60% of time is spent outside in strenuous conditions.
• 4 years safety and fire-fighting experience in the hydrocarbon processing industry.
• Formal training at appropriate safety and fire-fighting courses.
• Good knowledge of spoken and written English.
• UAE driving license preferable.
