Basic Function:

 

• Fault diagnosis and repair of various types of pumps, compressors, valves etc.

• Aligning pumps to motors

• Renewing/replacing mechanical seals, all types of bearings and checking clearances.

Minimum Requirements:

 

• Completion of secondary education followed by 2 years of formal training in fabrication trades.

• Minimum 5 to 8 years of practical experience in fabricating high pressure schedule 160 pipework and steel work particularly in offshore oil installations.

• Experience in shutdown works and also experience in working inside static equipment.

• Fair knowledge of spoken and written English language. Basic safety courses such as fire-fighting, survival, H2S and first aid.

• Age not more than 50 years.
