Job Description
Provides guidelines and directions to all assets on potential areas on data integration and geological model development. Defines and updates workflows, methodologies and procedures in alignment within dustry best practice.
Provides technical support, advisory and training to Company staff, Acts as technical authority in domain of Geomodelling. 
Represents technical authority for Gemodelling in Company.
Defines standards for data integration and geological model development across Company Asset Teams
Supports assets in determining opportunities to develop studies to assist with geomodelling and surface-subsurface integration.
Identifies challenges across all assets and implements new technologies and workflows.
Captures lessons learned / best practices and ensures their communication across assets.
Participates directly and indirectly in technical staff development (training, coaching, career development)
Builds 3D geological models in corporating reservoir rock typing, structural, seismic, SCAL data and performances uncertainty analyses.
Evaluates geological uncertainties in the subsurface by defining and ranking geological scenarios. 
Supports reservoir engineers inthe simulation studies. Initiates and follows up closely on all geology related studies in new reservoirs carried out by consultants or shareholders in assigned field/concession area.
Develops, directs, and participates in geological reservoir studies aimed at constructing and/or improving geological models. Includes coordinating and defining coring, logging and testing requirements.
Coordinates and checks the preparation of geological requirements and geological predictions of appraisal and development wells.
Coordinates and participates in the preparation of reservoir appraisal sheets. Includes reviewing and evaluating test results.
Participates in the definition of contracted specialfield testing related to reservoir geology. Includes defining scope of special test required, preparing specifications, evaluating bids and recommending final award and contract features as assigned. 
Ensures contractors’ compliance with contract terms and schedules and monitors progress and performance through regular activity reports.
Desired Candidate Profile
Minimum Qualification
Bachelor Degree/Master inGeology / Geological science or equivalent.
Minimum Experience & Knowledge & Skills
15 years in petro-technical discipline (Reservoir Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, Geoscience), of which 5 years in a specialist role. International experience is preferable.
Track recording maturing and applying new technologies and participation in R& D projects.
Responsible for independent study and production of accurate data for appraisal and field development. Accountable for providing sedimentology and rock typing expertise to assigned Team aiming at discovery/development of new reserves as the primary objectives
Keeps abreast of related development within the oil production industry Includes:
Attending and representing Company in conferences,seminars and society meetings to Identify new developments in the industry of interest of the Company.
Prepares reports/papers on such functions and circulates to supervisor and team members.
