Job Description
Supervise and coordinates the day-to-day operational activities, and implement solutions to achieve mandated oil production, gas, water and CO2 injection targets,maintain optimum operating efficiency and assure facilities and systems integrity/reliability while assuring compliance to HSE Management System.
Coordinate with different stakeholders in the planning and implementation of production and injection adjustments to meet mandated oil production and gas, water, CO2 injection KPIs.
Supervise the operations staff and provide guidance to other discipline teams in solving operating problems and optimizing/monitoring conditions through data acquisition, analysis and applications.
Review the operating data as per the planned production targets, past and present prevailing conditions including laboratory analysis, operating plant performance; highlight any major deviations from the Design Operating Envelopes (parameters).
Ensure the completion of daily ongoing activities without deviation from specified PTW HSE conditions as an Area Authority accountability.
Perform safeguard operating facilities to people during Emergencies or Crisis as onscene commander, and to be the main channel of information and communication covering all activities within the process facilities, manifold stations wells and cluster locations.
Plan,prepare and supervise the execution of planned and emergency shutdownactivities and oversee safe compliance to shutdown schedule.
Participate and provide high quality input in various studies like HAZOP, Risk assessment,Root Cause Analysis, design reviews etc.
Prepare specialized reports, as required, for all process deviations and abnormalities, highlighting recommendations for improvements pertaining to safety, energy efficiency,and cost optimization and Operations convenience.
Analyse and manage the manpower distribution to ensure optimum availability for business continuity and work execution.
Witness measurement of crude oil transfer from M.O.L to refinery. Also the transfer of fuel oil into the Company M.O.L.’s from the refinery
Supervise and ensure proper implementation of crude oil loading program. This includes:
Receive monthly ship allocations for Company and other shareholders for allowables.
Supervises the preparation and maintenance of master program in accordance with changing ETAs and nominations.
Advise on ship movements in the approach channel.
Allocate berths according to tanker’s size, capacity and required loading rates as advised by Ship’s Master.
Advises subordinates of correct loading rates, number of positive displacement meters and pumps required, working pressures, operation of prover loop to establish performance curve for each meter, and regular proving of each meter.
Ensure that documentation procedures are being correctly followed and cargoes properly calculated and documented as per lifters requirements and sign on Company behalf.
Supervises the control of Pentane and Condensate Injection to MOL and Ruwais area, coordinates with Ruwais Refinery to the R.V.P.’s are within safety limits. Liaises with Company on flow rate and measurement of the Pentane injected to Company M.O.L’s
Participates in pigging operations and liaise with pipeline maintenance personnel on pig receipt.
Conduct regular operation and safety inspection and audits.
 
Supervise and check shipping and daily figures fed into computer. Prepare daily report of crude oil receipts, exports and stocks available for onward dispatch to Company and shareholders. Prepares monthly and year end reports of oil movements and exports for fiscal purposes.
Liaises with external auditors and provide required documents/information.

Min 5 years in oil terminal operations
 
or 
 
Completion of Secondary education (12 years) followed by 3 years full time training leading to a Diploma in a technical trade.
