Job Description
Purpose and Scope:
To carry out the Roles and Responsibilities of a Quality Control Coordinator in compliance with AIRMS and ITMS requirements. This position shall be limited to Turnaround execution Phase and Post Turnaround Execution Phase and shall cover all routine maintenance activities carried out in Train 1 LNG and Boilers 1 and 2 during this period.
Undertakes, supervise, review effective impelementation of the QA/QC System in Company Turnaround and routine maintenance works. The goal is to improve quality of performance of activities focusing on asset integrity, operability, maintenance and process efficiency in accordance with the latest international and company standards & codes of practice.
To coordinate reporting of QA/QC KPIs and to manage QA/QC the incentive program by carrying out awareness drama sessions to crews, giving spot awards and making follow ups on the trend of the KPI scores. 
Scope of Duties:
Ensure that Company requirements for quality as stipulated in PQP, ITPs and various check lists are met without exemption  during the entire Major shutdown including regular routine maintenance activities. 
Support and advise to the Manager of TAPD as well as other Departments that request any clarifications with regards to QA/QC issues. 
Maintains/update Turnaround Manager the daily weld repair rate, NDT performance and other QA/QC concerns during turnaorund period.
Assist in Identifying and recommending action plans related to quality issues to be included in LLW and issue a tabulation of the same at the end of the shut down.
Participate in Daily T/A Review Meetings.
Review work packages and make all required endorsements. Ensure no deviations to established method statements unless officially approved by Company. 
Monitor and verify all non-conformities raised and assist Management Team in taking effective corrective actions for their closure.
To attend/witness all ASME R Stamp jobs and ensure effective execution of quality assurance plan for the same. 
Desired Candidate Profile
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor Degree in Mechanical  Engineering. 
10+  years in Quality Assurance and Quality Control Engineering experience in Oil Refining & Gas Refining, Power Plant or Petrochem Industry with at least 5 years in a Senior position. 
Having at least 5 participations in Major Turnaround QA/QC  activities.
Well conversant in all aspects of Inspection of material, mechanical piping works,  Static & rotating equipments, Major machinery, Structural, and civil works.
Well conversant in all Oil & gas Industry applicable International Standards such as ASME, ANSI, API, ASTM, AWS, NACE, AISC, JIS, DIN, BS, etc….
Familiar with basic NDT methods (RT, UT, DPT & MPT) including interpretations of results and aware of other NDT methods such as ToFD, PAUT, Eddy Current, IRIS, and others.
Well conversant with regards to the development and qualification of  WPS/PQR and     WQT for all kinds of materials.
With a good understanding of Oil and gas processing plant facilities.
Fluent English written/ Communications and technical reporting Skills
Good Team leader with Strong  Personality and Team Working Skills
Added advanges:
? Certified as LEAD QMS Auditor by IRCA and at least conducted  10  Third Party QMS certification audit as a Lead Auditor by an IRCA accredited certifying body.
? Certified by any accepted International accredited Piping/Welding Inspection Agency, NDT, Quality Assurance Agency (Such as AI, AWS, CSWIP, NACE and API) or any other accepted QA/QC Inspection Organization.
? Knowledge in Painting, insulation and refractory Quality Inspection requirements.
? Basic knowledge in Electrical and Instrumentation Inspection requirements.
