Job Description
Carry out planned maintenance, repairs and small modifications. The role includes work on all asset rotating equipment and all other equipment.
Deliver full compliance with Company rules of safety and the PSVM site safety standard.
Deliver on a personal auditing commitment. Participating in SOC’s, BOSS and PTW/ICC audits.
Provide technical expertise to incident investigations as required. e Toreview PTW and attend daily permit meetings.
Agree work schedule and priorities with the Mechanical supervisor.
Support all PSVM Maintenance planning processes to ensure timely completion of all maintenance activities
Ensure spare parts and materials are available for planned maintenance activities
Assist with Management of platform based critical spares, ensuring the correct spares holding and adequate storage.
Review technical content of engineering work packsfor all Mechanical related modifications.
Prepare WCC’s and ICC’s in accordance with the control of work standard.
Ensure work requests are sufficiently detailed, clearly defining the scope of work or nature of problem along with basic planning information.
Perform the role of performing authority in the frame work of the integrated safe system of work.
Execute daily work schedules in a safe, efficient and diligent manner in accordance with approved platform procedures and routines, ETP’s and industry standards.
Ensure Job plans and PMR’s are accurate and sufficiently detailed. Feedback proposed revisions to the Mechanical supervisor.
Worksite supervision of vendor contractors within the Mechanical discipline.
Undertake system modifications as per approved work packs and authorised e-MOC.
Detailed and accurate reporting of all mechanical maintenance activities through Maximo database
Maintain personal competency in alignment with the Mechanical technician CMAS competency profile.
Proactively coach and mentor the Angolan designate technicians, providing regular feedback to the CMAS assessors.
Support and develop peers across the multi discipline operations team. e Support CMAS team in all aspects of the CMAS process
Provide Mechanical technical input to process upset reports, ensuring that the PUR causes are fully understood, documented and corrective actions assigned.
Provide technical input to Engineering Queries.
Take a lead role in Condition Monitoring processes
Provide comprehensive and detailed e-logbook handovers at the end of each shift and crew change.
Actively participate in safety briefings and toolbox talks. e Communicate lessons learned across the shifts.
Perform emergency response duties as defined in the PSVM emergency response plan.
Strong leadership and coaching skills
Ability to provide hands-on training and coaching to Trainee Mechanical Technicians.
Ability to work as part of a small multi-cultural and disciplines team. e Numerate and computer literate.
Previous Oil & Gas Industry site work, work permits systems, safety systems and computerised maintenance management systems experience is essential.
Appropriate technical degree or similar.
Minimum of 10 years experience in an onshore/offshore hydrocarbon process plant.

Highly self-driven and motivated, eager to contribute to the safe and effective operation and maintenance ofthe installation.
Thorough and reliable worker operating to high standards. Ability to work within pressured environments whilst remaining focussed and decisive.
Self-motivated and able to work on own initiative with limited supervision. e Must follow correct procedures and sound working practices.
Willing to work a? Day rotation on possibly alternate "shift patterns" and overtime when required.
Valid offshore medical and survival qualification required. e Current vaccination certificate relevant to UAE is required.
Prior to mobilisation, must be trained and familiar with client's Integrated Safe System of Work (ISSOW).
Must bewilling to participate in emergency response team requirements as may be directed.
Must work at alltimes-inthe-best interest of Company.
Must comply with Company requirements of Health, Safety, Environmental & Quality policies and procedures.
