Job Description



  • Supervises monitors control and co-ordinate the operation of production facilities on Oil and Gas cluster to ensure safe and efficient operation and ensure the Company's oil/ gas production and Water injection requirements are met in terms of quality and quantity. Co-ordinates the routine / planned maintenance activities, including issuing work permits for maintenance jobs, shutting- down / starting up additional equipment to ensure that plant's operation are not interrupted.
  • (Work covers oil and gas cluster production operations area on USSC including GTP, NGTP, GG-II, ABK, CGW, Oil risers, oil collecting platform, CSP, CSP-1,IGD-HAP Flare System and remote Wellhead gas Towers operated by telemetry, Water injection facility (WIP) and Disposal Wellhead Towers).




  • Daily contacts with work associates and operations personnel up to US Operations Team Leader level to discuss production plan targets, production plant operating activities and operating procedures.
  • Daily contacts with Maintenance personnel within oil and gas operation team up to Supervisor level for implementation, co-ordination and progress of maintenance activities.
  • Occasionally communicate with ID for chemical dosing requirements in water injection and in oil and gas line.
  • Daily contacts with Tower and Pipe Line Operation team personnel up to Supervisor level to discuss field gas wells availability and operation.
  • Occasional contacts with work associates in US asset up to Engineer level to discuss engineering requirements and co-ordinate work activities.
  • Occasional contact with personnel in Commercial division at equivalent level to discuss Chemicals requirements.
  • Occasional contact with personnel in Store division at equivalent level to follow up material requisitions, and chemicals supply.
  • Works according to specialised technical standards, and Company established procedures and HSE standards, using own initiative, judgement in adjusting plant conditions -particularly in emergency situations.


Desired Candidate Profile

Minimum Qualification


  • Completion of Secondary Education followed by two years formal training leading to a technical diploma.
  • 4-5 years experience in a Refinery, chemical plant or offshore production plant operations including experience of DCS operation.
  • Good knowledge of English language.
  • 5 years of experience, including at least
