Job Description
Job duties but not limited to 
• Plans, Executes, Monitors and Coordinates warehousing activities like receiving, binning, storage, preservation, issuances, transfers and dispatch of stock, direct charge and custody materials.
• Responsive in adhering to warehouse/HSE procedures and guidelines, ensuring housekeeping, training the storekeepers, delegating work, implementing best practices and ensuring maximum service level for uninterrupted operation
• Implements and adheres to the approved Division and Department Policies and Procedures With‐in the Warehouse.
• Identifies areas of improvement within the warehouse and highlights them to the Supervisor / Section head.
• Provides work direction to assigned personnel in the warehouse, set achievable targets and drives the team towards company’s goals/KPI.
• Supports the supervisor/section head in planning annual budget for the warehousing operation.
• Recommends appropriate methods to the supervisor and to the store keepers to ensure efficient storage, effective preservations, materials rearrangement & stocking, materials handling requirements, etc.
• Manage and control the subordinate’s activities to ensure that the warehouse procedures, processes
and the HSE management system are adhered to and implemented especially those related to the
handling and storage of toxic and hazardous materials.
• Executes and manages timely and accurate Receipts, Rejects, Issuances, Returns, Transfers, Storage and Binning.
• Implement FIFO for shelf life (lot) items and continuous monitoring on expiry dates
• Ensures that safety rules and regulations are strictly observed by all store keepers whilst dealing with sensitive/hazardous or volatile materials and during material movement within the warehouse.
• Plans daily work programs for Storekeepers, Forklift Operators and Helpers and provides detailed work instructions for all shifting/ storekeeping and handling activities.
• Organize for the receipt, inspection, storage and handling of equipment, spare parts and chemicals. Ensure conformity with the respective documents and that the required certificates, material data sheet, and tests reports are enclosed for further verification and approval by the end users. Prepares GRN reports on status of materials received.
• Coordinates the rejected, damaged and shortage receipts, generating Material Discrepancy Report.
• Ensures that materials preservation plan is properly implemented for the storage and protection of all equipment, materials and spare parts.
• Coordinate closely the storage operation associated with sensitive/hazardous or volatile materials to ensure conformity to specific requirements, procedures and. standards.
• Forecasts requirements for storage space and facilities such as shelves, boxes, bins, timber pallets etc. and makes necessary preparations for receipt.
• Coordinates for the left‐over/surplus materials from projects and write‐off/disposal materials.
• ERP/SAP system warehousing functions.
Desired Candidate Profile
 
Minimum Requirements:
• Completion of Technical Secondary School Education (12 years) 2-year diploma
• 06 years' experience in a related field in an oil/gas or petrochemical industry.
• Knowledge of computerized maintenance and materials management system.
• Knowledge of computerized vocabulary system is essential.
• Professional in English Language ( reading, writing and speaking )
