GIS expert is responsible for building and maintaining GIS databases. It uses GIS software to analyse spatial and non-spatial information; enters GIS databases such as spreadsheet files of latitudinal and longitudinal coordinates, aerial or satellite imagery, tabular data, manual digitizing of images of maps; ensures the accurate documentation of parameters and context of GIS data; creates thematic maps; performs geospatial modelling or spatial analysis; analyzes a wide range of areas i.e. city government, transportation, urban planning, geology, archaeology, etc.;

Requirements

• Bachelor degree in GIS, geography, or relevant field
• Esri Certification or GISP is a plus
• 1-5 years experience in ArcGIS Desktop, ArcGIS Onlin.
• 1-5 Years experience in GPS GNSS field data collection
• Candidate must have good communication and writing skills, with a responsibility in documenting meeting minutes, and assist in the writing of GIS/GPS standard GIS operating procedures
