JOB PURPOSE:

Supervise and perform maintenance of all Instrument & Control and equipment and systems to ensure equipment availability, reliability and integrity.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Ensure availability of required resources for Instrument and Control equipment & systems maintenance execution and schedule expectations to complete the job safely and in time.
• Plan, schedule, execute and supervise the Preventive/Predictive maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure reliability and availability
• Ensure that HSECES related equipment PM tasks are completed within scheduled time and report any incomplete HSECES task and finding to create follow up WO.
• Inspect I follow up tasks progress and provide report to ensure timely and quality job execution.
• Provide technical support to meet required standards and cost effectiveness.
• Ensure that maintenance records, fault reports, logbooks, are kept up-to-date. Update refurbished equipment database and history for the equipment and their accessories to ensure effective equipment keeping.
• Participate and conduct daily /weekly safety toolbox talks to discuss on safety and methods of completing job tasks.
• Supervise the testing and commissioning of new or modified equipment or systems, ensuring that repairs/ installations conform to correct methods and safety procedures.
• Participate in the planning, scheduling and execution of shutdown and major overhaul maintenance activities
• Monitor availability of tools, equipment, and parts for scheduled jobs to ensure smooth operations.
• Prepare list of spares, tools and materials required for the maintenance jobs and co-ordinate with Supervisor for Purchase/Material requisitions. Inspect new materials' specifications to meet specifications and suitability.
• Process & submission of MR, IR & RR stores materials and ensures sufficient spares are available on the complex or field

QUALIFICATIONS. EXPERIENCE. KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

• Degree in Instrument & Control or Electronics & Communications discipline or equivalent qualification
• 5 years of experience as a supervisory role for Instrument & control engineering and maintenance activities within a large industrial organization, preferably in the Oil and Gas industry.
• Thorough working knowledge in the field of instrumentation and control. Competency in the maintenance of control loops, PLC's and DCS.
• Demonstrated skills in troubleshooting maintenance, and testing of all plant instrument & control systems equipment.
• Knowledge of CMMS (SAP)
• Knowledge of international standards and engineering best practices related to oil & Gas industry
• Must be able to work efficiently with Engineering, Operations, Maintenance Support, Materials Management, contractors, Environmental, Safety and other groups within the plant organization.
• Knowledge of HSE procedures & practices.
• Planning and Organizing, Scheduling and Co-ordinating, Checking, Examining and Recording

Education:

• Bachelor's (Preferred)

• Experience:

   

  • Supervisor (I&C maintenance activities in O&G): 5 years (Preferred)
  • control loops, PLC's and DCS: 5 years (Preferred)
  • CMMS (SAP): 3 years (Preferred)
