Job Description
JOB PURPOSE:
Supervise and perform major rotating equipment maintenance activities to ensure the Plant’s equipment safety, integrity, and quality assurance with minimum down time and optimum cost. Oversee the assigned manpower activities in order to meet the Company’s rotating equipment maintenance objectives.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
  • Support the job planning by providing data of the required resources to ensure they are timely available for the execution of the planned maintenance job as scheduled ensuring the effectiveness of HSECES barriers related to rotating equipment maintenance.
  • Execute rotating equipment maintenance according to maintenance plan which include priorities, workload, and manpower availability following a set of procedures to achieve the Plant’s target in terms of quality assurance.
  • Supervise the preventive and predictive maintenance (PM/PDM) related to mechanical discipline to contribute in sustaining and improving the rotating equipment reliability, availability, and integrity.
  • Support in the root cause analysis, risk assessments, solution development, and action plans’ implementation to contribute in mitigating the risks and sustain the Plant’s reliability, availability, and integrity.
  • Supervise the major overhauls of major rotating equipment such as centrifugal compressors and turbines. Ensure the assigned tasks’ completion according to the specified plan.
  • Develop lifting plans for routine non-complex lifts to provide the Technicians with a clear direction on performing the job taking into consideration HSE measures.
  • Supervise the lifting of critical rotating equipment components such as rotors to ensure safe lifting.
  • Prepare the relevant analytical reports to enable decision making.
Desired Candidate Profile

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

  • Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
  • 5 years of experience in a supervisory role related to Rotating Equipment maintenance activities within the Oil and Gas industry.
  • Knowledge of compressor, turbines, pumps maintenance, and other rotating equipment maintenance and operations.
  • Good technical knowledge of the computerized maintenance management systems.
  • Knowledge of the relevant HSE procedures and risk assessment practices.
  • Experience in writing technical analytical reports.
  • Excellent verbal and writing skills.
  • Planning, organizing, scheduling, coordinating, checking, examining, and recording.

Education

Diploma (Preferred)

Experience:

 

  • supervisor to Rotating Equipment maintenance in O&G: 5 years (Preferred)
  • compressor, turbines, pumps maintenance: 5 years (Preferred)
  • computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS): 2 years (Preferred)
