Scope of work:

1. Reads drawings (P&IDs and spade lists) and carryout the related works accordingly.
2. Carryout diagnoses in fault- findings, repair and trip testing in close conjunction with power plant operations personnel.
3. Liaise with plant operations, Maintenance and technical department personnel to resolve mechanical related problems, which requires in-depth knowledge of the power plant process and mechanical equipment function knowledge.
4. Work under supervision on all complex systems on the power generation & distribution network plants.
5. Carryout all maintenance types in all mechanical equipment related to power generation plants.
6. Assist vendors’ personnel during Turbine overhauls.

Qualification: Secondary Technical Certificate with Diploma in Mechanic.

Minimum experience: 5 years in the instrument repair and maintenance in the oil & gas industry or petrochemical industry. Where at least 2 years is for Gas and Steam Turbines maintenance and operation.

Professional certification: Certified in laser or dial gauge alignment of mechanical equipment. Hydro torquing equipment certification is preferable.
