Job Purpose

To assist Project Director/ Project Manager to track the overall project schedule and project cost to ensure delivery on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

Planning

• Responsible for development of EPC schedules down to deliverable / activity level (L4)
• Perform Critical Path Analysis
• Development of Project Planning Package.
• Reviewing the Contractorsschedules in accordance with the completion milestones of the project
• Support the project management team in the planning, tracking, analysis, and reporting of projects
• Work in collaboration with project management team to drive consistency of the project scheduling approach to facilitate accuracy in project execution and reporting
• Troubleshoot and monitor potential scheduling problems
• Coordinate with other teams within the organization to ensure delivery of project activities are to time and budget
• Conduct planning reviews when required
• Identify resource requirements for project activities and add to the plan in accordance with the project management system procedures
• Generation of Manpower Histogram

Cost

• Ensure effective creation of Cost Breakdown Structure (inline with Work Breakdown Structure) with the use of project management system to monitor the status of all expenses up to the closure of the project.
• Produce monthly Project cost reports
• Maintain cost records (Commitments, Costs, Forecast) in support of the projects
• Prepare monthly cash flows
• Preparation of monthly value of work done, accruals and invoices.
• Provide cost controlling support for all projects which includes variation reporting, monitoring of milestone progress to the preparation of customer billing processes, etc.
• Attend project meetings and discussions with the PMT and external clients
• Provide cost control advice to the internal PMT team as and when required.

• Report any accident or near-miss to Regulations, HSE & Security team.

Educational and Technical Qualifications:

• Diploma degree
• Primavera

Language

• Written and Spoken English 

Experience

• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience (EPC Project Cost Control and Scheduling background)
