JOB PURPOSE:

Leads and executes drilling optimization initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and improve performance metrics. Drives continuous improvement in drilling operations through data analysis, technical innovation, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

Minimum Qualification

• Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering, Drilling Engineering, or a related field.

Minimum Experience & Knowledge & Skills

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in drilling engineering or drilling optimization roles, preferably in the oil and gas industry.
• Proven track record of leading and delivering drilling performance improvement projects and initiatives.
• Expertise in drilling performance analysis techniques, data interpretation, and statistical methods.
• Strong proficiency in drilling engineering software tools, such as wellbore hydraulics, torque and drag modeling, and drilling optimization software.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Effective communication, collaboration, and leadership abilities.
