Job Description
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Reviews buying descriptions of local materials catalogues periodically to establish complete and accurate specifications with respect to quality assurance of such materials.
- Daily checking of PR items using ONE ERP to compare with stock availability in Safe Custody or DM Uncollected and advise end-users if found available.
- Carry out transactions related to I&WD Operations as per ONE ERP Procedures
- Carry out Quality Inspection of materials receipt as per ASME, API, ANSI, BS, BASEEFA standards and test certificate
- Performs the department activities as per Group of Companies Warehouse and Materials Logistics Management Procedures in compliance with comapny standards
- Verifies test reports, mill certificates, analysis certificates and Material Safety Data sheets (MSDS) of all received items.
- Follow up with Users of Uncollected DM and Safe Custody materials for utilization or disposal of the materials kept in Stores custody
- Ensures that new materials conform to materials held in stock and have sufficient shelf life for expiry
- Prepares Materials Discrepancy Reports as relevant.
- Handles queries from end users on the availability of stock and arranges progress of current items via Procurement Division for UAE

- Maintaining all Purchase related, Technical Documents & other correspondent documents to meet future need of internal & external Audits
- Carry out Day to Day activities as per Company Inventory & Warehouse Management Procedures in conjunction with Company Materials Management, Company Procurement, Company Contracts, and Company HSE & ONE ERP Procedures.
- Maintaining all Purchase related, Technical Documents & other correspondent documents to meet future need of internal & external Audits.
- Ensure that materials are received in accordance with purchase order specification and Supplier delivery note i.e. users recommended specification, quality and the quantity and prepare inspection notes.
- Serve as QA I&WD Subject Matter Expert on maintenance, operations, engineering teams, review and provide input for all phases of acquisition process.
- Analyze and interprets the item descriptions and specifications of all materials coded in the SAP materials system ensuring all views across the functions and responsible for creating the Material
- Timely status reporting to Manager to ensure job progression against plan
- Coordinates and encourages delivery of technical documents by manufacturers and checks that the relative approval activities by the engineering specialists are carried out to deadlines agreed in orders
- Proving regular tool box talks, Safety & HSE training and sharing new ideas to improve KPI.
Desired Candidate Profile
Minimum Qualification
• Bachelor Degree or equivalent.
• 15-20 years’ experience in Procurement & warehouse & Logistics operations related to Oil&Gas or petrochemical industry.
• 15-20 years’ experience in Procurement & warehouse & Logistics operations related to Oil&Gas or petrochemical industry.
• Well-versed Computer Operating Skills in Microsoft Office Programs & ONE ERP
• Excellent problem solving and decision making skills
• Good communication and presentation skills
• Good knowledge of written and spoken English
