Job Description
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Directs, supervises and controls the activities of assigned personnel in the I&WD Das. Performs supervisory functions and exercises financial authority at the level established by Management.
Reviews daily Plant requirements of store stock items, ensures availability and authorizes stores stock issue requests. Supervises the preparation of materials for site delivery service as per Company procedure.
Coordinates with other Sections/Departments of the Division for replenishment of stock items to ensure adequate stores stock support to meet site requirements and ensures that all new stores stock items tally with actual requirements and meet the Company’s approved standards and specifications.
Ensures that Plant requirement records of stores stock items are maintained and updated and all damages / discrepancy reports are actual, accurate and liaises with users, Procurement and Material Control Departments for further investigation.
Set a high standard of “House Keeping” ensuring that materials are properly preserved, protected and correctly stored
Coordinates the assembly and disposal of redundant and retired assets and maintains the Salvage yard fit for use of redundnat equipment/materials.
Supervise and ensures that preventive measures are established in chemical storage areas for spill containment and appropriate protective clothing are available to combat the spill.
Ensures that new materials conform to materials held in stock and have sufficient shelf life for expiry.
Maintains a system of materials traceability to ensure that whilst materials are in storage, they are easily traced to their respective materials certificates.
Supervises and ensures that periodical inspection and color coding of Stores lifting tackles and equipments are complied with.
Assumes Permit to Work System (PTW) signature authority through Operations authorization process and sign Vehicle Entry Permits & Hot Work permits as performing authority for delivering materials to Plant
Timely status reporting to Manager to ensure job progression against plan
Proving regular tool box talks, Safety & HSE training and sharing new ideas to improve KPI.
Frequent contacts with personnel in Plant up to Snr Engineer level to discuss their requirements of materials.
Desired Candidate Profile
Minimum Qualification
• Bachelor Degree or equivalent.
• 5-10 years’ experience in procurement & warehouse Data Analyzing & Budget Accounting Operations related to Oil&Gas or petrochemical industry.
• Expert in Computer Operating Skills in Microsoft Office Programs & ONE ERP
• Excellent problem solving and decision making skills
• Good communication and presentation skills
• Good knowledge of written and spoken English
