Job Description

Basic Function:

• Directs, coordinates and supervises all mechanical maintenance and workshop activities in the West - III Section.

• Participates in the preparation and directs the implementation of maintenance programmes, investigates modification and new project proposals, examines equipment performance and provides recommendations to enhance maintainability and to minimise maintenance costs.

• Ensures all maintenance services are provided safely and efficiently.

Desired Candidate Profile

Minimum Requirements:

• B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering

• 10 years’ experience in a mechanical maintenance position in the petrochemical industry, including 5 years in a senior supervisory position.

• Technical knowledge of refining production operations and processes.

• Experience in the installation, maintenance and repair of a wide range of refinery rotating and stationary equipment.

• Excellent communication skills.

• Computer literate.

• Excellent decision making abilities.

• Excellent interpersonal communication and problem solving skills.

• Attention to detail.
