SECTION HEAD - PIPING & MATERIALS

Location: Abu Dhabi

 

Purpose of Job:

 

• Plan, direct, supervise and control the engineering, design and development activities/functions of Mechanical Engineering Department pertaining to Piping layouts, Pipelines routing, Materials Selection, Inspection and Corrosion/Metallurgy discipline activities so as to serve as centralized Piping/Pipeline, Materials, Corrosion & Inspection expertise while ensuring compliance with Company strategies, commitments and goals. 

• Coordinate and provide specialized technical support in Piping/Pipeline Design, Corrosion/Metallurgy and Inspection aspects to Ruwais and Abu Dhabi Refineries, Major Projects Division, Corporate Support Division and other Company Divisions. 

• Also provide Piping/Pipeline Engineering, Metallurgy/Corrosion Engineering and Inspection support for Execution of Minor projects from FEED through EPC to commissioning and final acceptance, in the Engineering and Technical Support Division.

 

Minimum Job Requirements:

 

• BSc in Mechanical Engineering. 

• 15 years of experience in which 10 years of experience in refining and oil & gas related fields.
