Basic Function:

 

• Senior Company representative aboard  Maintenance Barge. Single point accountability and authority for leading and coordinating all trades involved in executing assigned WHPT maintenance campaign activities.

• Focal point for all site communications with Barge Captain, Maintenance, Production and HSE personnel.

 

Worked Performed:

 

• Performing Authority for all maintenance teams carrying out Fabrication, Mechanical, Electrical, Instrument, Scaffolding activities associated with maintenance campaigns at Company WHPT’s.

• Liaises with CM/LG to ensure adequate supply of construction materials, spare parts, equipment, tools and consumables.

• Coordinates activities and supervises all teams to ensure safe, timely completion of all tasks as per plan.

• Studies and provides input to prepared scope of works, maintenance schedules, modifications, installations at WHPT’s.

• Responsible for ensuring all work scopes and procedures are complied with and executed to approved engineering standards.

• Reviews engineering packages, surveys work locations and provides practical input to their execution.

• Ensure, by appropriate monitoring and review that all work performed under his direction is performed in a safe and environmentally sound manner. Ensures all personnel adhere to good HSE practices and regulations. Effective follow up and reporting of all HSE related issues.

• Issues daily report detailing progress, hold ups, areas of concern, recommendations for improvement, etc. 

• Liaises with Operation, Maintenance and Inspection Section Heads for certifying satisfactory completion of work scope.

• Performs other related duties such as ordering materials, writing technical reports, updating engineering drawings, maintaining daily logs, closing Facility Changes, etc.

• Participate in the training and development of assigned UAE Nationals. Assessment and identification of employees training and development requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

 

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering.

• 10 years experience in the related field in oil / petrochemical Industry with strong construction/maintenance background.

• English language proficiency (Verbal and Written).

• Basic IT skills
