Job Description

Worked Performed:

• Carry out Onshore & Offshore Pre-commissioning, commissioning and start-up activities of Green Fields Projects.

• Assist in start-up of new systems and equipment at the jobsite.

• To review during the construction phase the status of testing and punch listing to ensure systems are turned over to commissioning and start-up in a smooth, safe and efficient manner.

• Interact with EPCC Contractor and Client’s operation staff to keep commissioning management informed of system completion status.

• To supervise, coordinate and review the work assigned, commissioning engineers & supervisors, and assign work to meet completion dates.

• To co-ordinate with Operation representatives to obtain approval on work as it is accomplished.

• To be regularly on site to guarantee the quality of work.

• Walk-through of the facilities and raising necessary punch lists.

• Witness and sign off individual system pre-commissioning check sheets.

• Sign-off individual discipline pre-commissioning dossiers and associated discipline acceptance certificates.

• Lead Commissioning & start up multidisciplinary team during project execution.

• Raise necessary punch list items and register in the project completion system, clear punch list items as necessary after checking at site.

• Perform Operational Testing for hydrocarbon and non-hydrocarbon systems.

• Bringing all utility systems to operational state and performance test them, for preliminary handover to operations.

• Confirm system has been constructed as designed.

• Check all equipment operation as specified.

• Trouble shooting of equipment operation, co-ordination required to perform dynamic tests and performance test for various systems with vendors and other involved parties.

• Ensure the leak tests and air-feeing of all hydrocarbon systems are properly done by verifying records and taking samples at specific places.

Desired Candidate Profile

Minimum Requirements:

• Degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent professional qualifications.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Oil/Gas industry in both operational, technical and commissioning aspects with Oil & Gas industry.

• Minimum 2 years of commissioning experience in reputable EPCC Contracting in similar role within the oil & gas industry.

• Involved in minimum one major projects Construction to Operation and Maintenance on specific positions.

• Specific experience in the Middle East for renowned clients is essential. Must be fully knowledgeable in commissioning large oil & gas projects that involve rotating machinery, gas dehydration and gas sweetening facilities. Etc.

• Should have proven experience as a Commissioning discipline engineer, having lead a team of supervisors and technicians in executing the pre-commissioning and commissioning activities independently.

• Communication and presentation skills.

• Proficient in English.
