Job Description
Worked Performed:
• Response to Fire alarms and fire rescue call and conduct firefighting and ambulance activities.
• Daily Activity (Site Safety patrol, heliport stand-by, Gas Checking using monitor, Record keeping)
• Maintenance and test operation of safety equipment (Fire Pump, fire truck, firefighting equipment, etc)
• Performance check of Breathing Apparatus set and gas detector, etc.
• 1-lot work monitoring if required
• Training of special fire brigade and other staff.
Desired Candidate Profile
Minimum Requirements:
• Completion of secondary school or equivalent is required.
• Completion of a college or vocational course in fire protection technology is preferred.
• Must have obtained emergency medical care training courses and certificates.
• NFPA level 1 and 2 or Fire fighters 1 and 2 British equivalents are preferred.
• Driving license of UAE Light duty and heavy duty is Must and Mandatory.
• 5 years experience as a professional fire fighter.
• Good knowledge of local and international legislation and regulations related work.
• Expert knowledge and skill of fire fighting, rescue and First aids.
• Expert knowledge of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements.
• Expert knowledge of all OH&S and other relevant safety regulations and standards.
• Having experience in Oil & Gas industry will be given more importance.
