Job Description
Basic Function:
 
Perform Project Management Duties to plan, execute, control and close Project FEED and EPC Execution of Company Projects. 
Ensure that Projects are implemented to the specified requirements, within schedule and in a cost-effective manner, and all Company concerned Divisions interfaces and co-ordination have been properly addressed and incorporated.
Perform Contract Administration duties to ensure that Consultants and Construction Contracts are efficiently and effectively administered.
 
Worked Performed:
 
Define/ FEED STAGE:
 
Develop Project Strategy.
Coordinate/ Validate Budget Estimates.
Develop Implementation Plan/ Master Schedule.
Interface Management.
Manage FEED/ Design Contractors/ Consultant Contracts and Coordinate their activities.
Project Administration, Document Management, and correspondence, transmittals & drawings control.
Attend & Manage coordination and design review meetings with FEED Contractor/ Design Consultants.
Coordinate and Manage required HSEIA, QRA’s and other HSE requirements for Projects.
Coordinate Value Engineering & Constructability Reviews.
Coordinate and issue necessary Purchase Requisitions for Procurement material & equipment for free issue to EPC/ Construction Contractors.
Review & comment on FEED contractors/ Design Consultants submissions.
Coordinate Preparation of Invitation to Bid (ITB) for EPC/ Construction.
Coordinate response to technical queries received during tendering stage. 
Carry out/ Coordinate Technical Evaluation of bids and submit recommendation to Contracts Dept. 
 
EPC/ Execute Stage:
 
Overall management and supervision of EPC/ Construction activities.
Review and approve contractor’s submission for method statements and material approval.
Management & Administration of PMC/ Technical Consultant Supervision and TPI.
Project Administration, Document Management, correspondence, transmittals & drawings control.
Conduct frequent construction site visits to monitor method of execution and progress of project works on the spot.
Control and monitor Project Schedule, Budget and Performance.
Review and endorse contractor’s invoices for payment.
Quality Assurance and Quality Control of the works performed.
Assure safety of personnel and Plant during construction.
Evaluate contractor’s variations and recommend/ respond promptly.
 
Completion/ Close-Out Stage:
 
Agree punch-list items with contractor.
Evaluate Contractors’ claims and make recommendation to accept/ reject/ negotiate and coordinate final settlement with Contracts Department.
Issue Provisional Acceptance Certificate.
Coordinate issuance of contract close-out report and transfer all project drawings/ catalogues/ manuals etc. to Company Records. 
Keep track of warranties/defects liability period on the works performed.
Coordinate all corrective actions by contractors during warranty/ defects liability period.
Make recommendation for Final Acceptance Certificate.
Desired Candidate Profile
Minimum Requirements:
 
Aged 35-50.
B.Sc. degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university. 
Minimum 15 years experience in oil and gas companies, including ten (10) years of outstanding project management experience for major oil/gas projects.
Computer literate, fully proficient in Excel, MS Project, Power Point, etc. 
Excellent knowledge of written and spoken English.
