Basic Function:

 

• Responsible for the development and implementation of training and systems to support the Process Simulator Training for Senior Field Operator/Operation Controller and system engineer He will be required to assist in the design and production of suitable training support material and OTS scenarios to ensure that there is uniformity in the delivery of high standards of OTS training. 

 

Worked Performed:

 

• Conduct and administer OTS ( Operator Training Simulator) training for SYSTEM engineers, operation team leaders and shift supervisors on various aspects of Plant operations like Start up, Normal Shutdown, Steady state operation ( monitor and control of plant parameters ), upsets and troubleshooting, elaborate more in root cause analysis (RCA),  emergency shutdown and emergency depressurization

• Maintain OTS training records/database  and documentation

• Run OTS model and record all the discrepancies for future up gradation of OTS.

• Liaise with operation for the release candidates and prepare training need analysis.

• Create OTS training performance measurement and evaluation TPMs/Malfunctions /Scenarios   for monitoring the trainees’ performance and future reference.

• Track the progress of candidates and produce reports as required

• Liaise with engineering division for any OTS upgrading or modification related issues.

• Conduct Plant courses for the Operations staff.

• Conduct Process induction for new staff.

• Conduct OTS familiarization course for the Operations staff.

• Maintain good working relationship with other Training Centre staff
