Job Description

Basic Function:

• Directs, manages, supervises and coordinates the programs and activities of an assigned shift.

• Supervises and guides shift manpower after dynamic risk assessment of situations for firefighting and rescue, inspection and testing of fire equipment, fire and rescue training, updating of records and up keeping of Fire station.

• Coordinates with other company departments/divisions for implementing a comprehensive safety protection, fire prevention and inspection program within the shift. Includes scheduling fire personnel and coverage for assigned shift and provides highly responsible assistance as directed by the Fire Section Head.

Desired Candidate Profile

Minimum Requirements:

• Completion of Secondary education (12 Years) followed by a Higher (or 3 years) Diploma in Fire Engineering/Fire Science.

• 6 years’ experience in the refinery petroleum company fire services including three years as a Lead Fireman.

• Must possess a valid UAE driver’s license.

• Good knowledge of English Language.

• Knowledge of Arabic is preferable.

• Computer literate.
