Job Description

Basic Function:

• Provides detailed technical analysis of design, operational and maintenance related problems for Static Mechanical equipment / facility and finds out optimum economical solution.

• Resolves repetitive and chronic equipment problems to maintain reliability and maximize availability of equipment.

• Establishes Preventive Maintenance (PM) program; reviews PM, Predictive Maintenance PdM and maintenance/repair feedback to identify problem areas. Provides cost effective solutions for breakdown maintenance.

• Reviews history entry in CMMS with the objective to ensure its quality and effective utilisation of the available data.

• Participates actively in implementation of new projects, design change and in-house modification jobs from design stage up to commissioning.

• Participates in HSE related issues and evaluates systems and procedures from HSE perspective.

• Carries out Capital and Operating budget items related jobs.

Desired Candidate Profile

Minimum Requirements:

• B. Sc. In Mechanical Engineering.

• 9 years’ experience as maintenance Mechanical Engineer in an oil refinery, petrochemical, plant, power plants or associated industry of which 4 years are in a senior position.

• Experience in Gas Turbine, Steam turbine, Boiler, HRSG/ WHRB, Water Heat Boiler, Desalination Plant, M&F, Sea water Pumping.

• Specialised experience in Mechanical Static equipment and basic necessary knowledge and experience in rotating mechanical equipment are essential.

• Very good knowledge of written and spoken English.

• Knowledge of Arabic is preferable.

• Computer Literate.
