Basic Function:

 

• Provides technical expertise for the inspection activities during engineering design development for projects associated with oil refining/treatment. 

• Reviews the work performed by Project Management consultants (PMC) and the Front End Engineering design (FEED)/Detailed Engineering Contractors’ work. 

• Develops Statement of Requirements (SOR) for grass root as well as revamp projects.

• Provides guidance in troubleshooting to the users as required.

• Provides expert advice and assistance to Company’s Plants in the engineering, maintenance, and performance monitoring and troubleshooting with the objective of achieving services longevity at optimum cost. 

• Reviews engineering design and specifications related to the existing plants and capital projects. 

• Participates in the reliability audits and failure cause analysis as required. Reviews existing specification and initiates the development and updating of Company’s Standards and Specifications.
