Basic Function:

 

• Installs, overhaul, commission, maintain and repair Electrical, Electronic, Pneumatic, Hydraulic, Mechanical and Analytical Instrument and Control systems used on Offshore Oil & Gas Production Platforms and Wellhead towers

 

 

 

 

Minimum Requirements:

 

• Secondary Technical Certificate plus 2 years formal training in Electrical, Electronic or instrumentation related to Control Systems.

• 5 year experience as technician in the maintenance and repair of pneumatic and electronic instrumentation on offshore oil installations.

• Good knowledge of spoken and written English and be conversant with the use of permits to work within the oil petrochemical industry.

• Shall be proficient at reading and understanding P&I diagrams, wiring, logic and cause and effect drawings.
