Job Description
Basic Function:
• Conversant with pipe & structural fabrication work for high pressure piping involving heavy/light plate fabrication with carbon steels, stainless steel and nickel alloys. Proficient with site measurement, fabrication and weld preparation of large and small pipe-work.
Desired Candidate Profile
Minimum Requirements:
• Completion of secondary education followed by 2 years of formal training in fabrication trades.
• 8 years of practical experience in fabricating high pressure piping up to schedule 160 pipe work and steel work particularly in offshore oil installations.
• Ability to ready isometric and plant layout drawings.
• Pipe and plate development skills required and operating pipe binding and screw cutting machines.
• Good knowledge of spoken and written English language.
• Basic safety courses such as fire-fighting, survival, H2S and first aid.
