Job Description
Basic Function:
• Qualified and certified for high-pressure piping working up to schedule 160 for 1.0" diameter and above for 6G welding position mostly for GTAW, & SMAW process and fully competent and experienced men with previous oilfields experienced and are conversant with pipe and structure fabrication requirements.
Desired Candidate Profile
Minimum Requirements:
• Qualified and certified for (6G) GTAW, & SMAW
• Completion of secondary education followed by 3 years of formal training in fabrication trades.
• 8 years of practical experience in welding high pressure piping from 1" diameter and above up to schedule 160 pipe work and steel work particularly in offshore oil installations.
• Good knowledge of spoken English language.
• Basic safety courses such as firefighting, survival, H2S and first aid.
