Job Description

Basic Function:

• To act as a general hand, assisting in all the Fabrication / Installation / Maintenance / rigging / scaffolding / desludging / housekeeping physical activities which will be carried out on the offshore oil installations for Company.

• Must be adaptable, hard-working, fairly strong and willing to turn their hands to any task. Must have a flexible attitude towards assigned working areas and prepared to do all aspects of the work as required and assist in other areas to meet operational or exceptional circumstances as directed by Company.

Desired Candidate Profile

Minimum Requirements:

• Completion of primary education

• 3-5 years of industrial experience in pipeline installation and maintenance within the oil / petrochemical industry, capable of carrying out cleaning and desludging of equipment, vessel internals etc.,

• Must have experience in using heavy tools e.g. Flogging spanners, 14 Lb, Hammer etc.,

• Trained in the use of Breathing Apparatus (necessary for desludging activities).

• Fair knowledge of spoken and written English language.
