Job Description

Basic Function:

• Responsible for driving and operating the fire and rescue apparatus to the emergency scene and operates at the fire vehicles with efficiency and reliability.

• Directs and controls fire-fighting agents supplied to the emergency scene in coordination with fire teams and ensures that fire fighting vehicle is ready to use all the times.

Desired Candidate Profile

Minimum Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• 4 years’ experience as Fireman/Fire Truck Operator.

• Knowledge of heavy vehicles, automobiles will be advantage.

• Knowledge of facility topography, location of hydrants and successful completion of driver qualification and testing procedure.

• Skill in operation of pumps, ladder, rescue, tanker, and fire apparatus equipment.

• Knowledge of modern fire fighting and fire prevention principles and maintenance of First Aid certification.

• Must possess a valid UAE HGV driver’s license and have a driving record in accordance with the city's requirements.

• Problem solving skills.

• Shows initiative.
