• Reports directly to Chief Tug Master.

• Daily Inspects equipment, gear, machinery, and tug condition.

• Monitors deck maintenance and maintains cleanliness and general condition of tug.

• Records attendance of Marine Crews.

• Knowledgeable with the operations of navigation aids, oil spill, and firefighting,

• Must operate all port tugs and crafts if necessary.

• Secures the deck and ensuring safety precaution along with his crew and tug during bad weather.

• Well versed to operate radars, echo sounder, and satellite GPS.

Minimum Requirement

• Proficient in written and speaking English Language. (Arabic speaking is preferred)

• Grade 12/Secondary School with Valid Tug Master Certificate issued and approved by Maritime Authority.

• 3-5 years of relevant experience in the Main Port
