Job Description

Follow all standard operating procedures to carry out rigging procedures at the Offshore Loading terminals
Set up rigging for Offshore loading terminals (SPM’s) in order to connect or disconnect loading hoses to oil tankers as needed to fulfil the operating requirements
Select rigging gear, such as cables, pulleys, and winches, according to load weight, size, operational requirement, and work schedule in order to carry out rigging operations.
Clean and dress machine surfaces and component parts in preparation for rigging operations.
Assemble and install supporting structures, rigging, hoists, and pulling gear, using hand and power tools to carry out rigging operations.
Control movement of heavy rigging equipment through narrow openings or confined spaces.
Test Rigging to ensure safety and reliability
Dismantle, maintain, and store rigging equipment.
