Responsibilities & Accountabilities

• Review and analysis of existing refractory lining material selection for all the refractory scope of works.
• Review project specifications and execution plans
• Supervision of all refractory site activities to implement quality works.
• Review refractory contractor’s procedures and ITPs (Inspection and Test Plans).
• Pre-qualification of refractory materials and operators.
• Monitor demolition of existing refractory.
• Conduct as fond inspection and provide recommendation for refractory repair.
• Installation surveillance of all stages of work for project compliance. Check mixing logs, installation technique of bricks, gunite casting, ramming etc.
• Witness refractory sampling and testing.
• Daily reporting on installation quality and concerns.
• Final inspection, visual and hammer test including laboratory test results.
• Pre and post dry-out lining Inspections.

Education Qualification, Certification and Experience Requirements

• Completion of Matriculation or above or equivalent
• Possess valid API936 Certification
• Should be well versed with all MS office, MS word & Excel
• 10 years’ experience in the Oil & Gas or Petrochemical Industry with solid experience handling staff accommodation related activities
• Good Communications Skills
• Strong Personality, Team Working Skills
