Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities not limited to 
Review NOC requests submitted by external utilities and contractors for activities near natural gas pipelines.
Assess potential risks to gas infrastructure and recommend mitigation measures.
Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to approve or reject NOC applications.
Maintain accurate records of all NOC requests and approvals in the system.
Provide engineering and design expertise for LPG/SNG/NG/CNG systems across residential, commercial, and industrial sectors NOCs.
Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with safety and technical standards.
Verify technical drawings, as-built layouts, and TPI & compliance certificates.
Prepare and submit renewal packages for internal technical and safety review.
Obtain renewed NOC and update internal records.
Manage GIB maintenance activities.
Plan and execute gas supply connections for residential and commercial customers.
Verify technical drawings, pipeline routing, and pressure requirements before approval.
Liaise with construction teams for timely completion of gas connections.
Monitor gas flow and ensure uninterrupted supply to customers post commissioning
Conduct site inspections for NOC-related works near pipelines.
Ensure adherence to safety protocols during excavation and construction activities.
Report any violations or hazards to management and recommend corrective actions.
Prepare technical reports, risk assessments, and compliance documentation.
Update GIS and asset management systems with approved NOC and gas supply data.
Generate periodic reports for management on NOC status and gas supply performance
 
Desired Candidate Profile
Minimum Requirement
o Relevant API & ISO Certifications 
o ASME B31.8 – Gas Transmission and Distribution Piping Systems
o Registered Gas Distribution Professional (RGDP)
o NCCER Pipeline Operator Qualification (OQ)
o Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Chemical Engineering (or related field).
o Minimum 10 years in in gas distribution systems.
o Must have at least 3 years of experience in gas distribution, pipeline maintenance, or utility coordination
o Understanding of natural gas pipeline design and maintenance.
o Ability to interpret engineering drawings and GIS maps.
