Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities not limited to 
  • -Develop and implement Asset Integrity Management Systems (AIMS) to ensure the reliability and safety of assets.
  • -Conduct risk-based inspections (RBI) and integrity assessments for equipment, including pressure vessels, pipelines and AGIs.
  • -Perform corrosion monitoring and management, applying effective strategies to mitigate risks.
  • -Plan and oversee non-destructive testing (NDT) and condition monitoring activities, such as ultrasonic testing (UT) as required.
  • -Ensure compliance with industry codes and standards (API 510, API 570, API 653, ASME, CSA, NACE).
  • -Analyze inspection data, perform root cause analysis (RCA), and conduct failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA).
  • -Prepare and maintain comprehensive asset integrity documentation and inspection reports.
  • -Collaborate with operations and maintenance teams to optimize asset performance and minimize downtime.
  • -Support regulatory audits and implement corrective actions to address compliance gaps.
  • -Execute duties in accordance with company specifications, policies, and regulations.
  • -Manage the development of scope of work and deliverables for project consultants, licensors, and engineering contractors.
  • -Ensure optimal design and engineering of projects, meeting approved standards.
  • -Evaluate and recommend scope changes during project implementation, particularly regarding integrity assessments.
  • -Review and approve design change requests, concession requests, trend notices, and waivers to project specifications.
  • -Contribute to technical analysis of claims and variations, identifying opportunities to challenge contractors and protect company interests.
  • -Develop technical negotiation strategies and participate in negotiations with contractors; approve Technical Position Papers as required.
  • -Evaluate and recommend potential contractors and suppliers for required services.
  • -Organize and manage integrity assessments for projects, ensuring compliance with all requirements.
  • -Analyze problem areas and recommend practical, cost-effective solutions.
  • -Recommend and coordinate training for company and contractor personnel in relevant areas.
  • -Prepare project-related reports and presentations as required.
  • -Develop and implement performance measurement tools to monitor contractors and project performance.
  • -Attend and participate in technical meetings as necessary.
  • -Develop and manage departmental standard operating procedures (SOPs) and guidelines.
Desired Candidate Profile
Minimum Requirement
o Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Materials, Chemical, or relevant field.
o API 570, API571 & API 580
o API 510 (Pressure Vessel Inspector)
o API 570 (Piping Inspector)
o Certified Asset Integrity Professional (CAIP)
o Minimum 10 years in asset integrity, inspection, or maintenance engineering within oil & Gas industry.
o Must have at least three (3) years of experience in gas transmission and distribution
o Risk-Based Inspection (RBI) and risk assessment methodologies.
o Corrosion engineering and material degradation analysis.
o Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) techniques (UT, RT, LRUT, thermography).
o Pipeline and pressure vessel integrity management.
o Failure analysis and root cause investigation.
o Data analysis and integrity management software (SAP, Maximo).
o Strong understanding of industry standards (API, ASME, NACE).
o Fitness-for-service evaluations and stress analysis.
