Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities not limited to 
 
o Review, prioritize, and approve work orders in the CMMS (SAP PM).
o Ensure accurate job scoping, resource allocation, and scheduling for preventive and corrective maintenance.
o Track work order progress, verify completion, and close orders with proper documentation.
o Analyze backlog and optimize maintenance planning to reduce downtime and improve asset reliability.
o Coordinate with procurement for spare parts and ensure timely availability of materials.
o Oversee maintenance and repair activities on gas pipelines.
o Ensure compliance with pipeline integrity standards during excavation, welding, and pressure testing.
o Monitor contractor performance and adherence to safety protocols during field operations.
o Conduct site inspections to verify quality of work and compliance with engineering specifications.
o Manage emergency response for pipeline leaks or damage, ensuring quick isolation and restoration.
o Supervise preventive and predictive maintenance programs for equipment.
o Train and mentor technicians on pipeline safety, work order processes, and maintenance best practices.
o Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on pipelines, valves, and pressure-regulating stations.
o Troubleshoot mechanical failures and implement timely repairs to minimize downtime.
o Assist in installing new mechanical equipment and systems.
o Support commissioning activities and ensure compliance with engineering standards.
o Conduct routine inspections of mechanical components for wear, corrosion, and leaks.
o Perform pressure tests and integrity checks on pipelines and associated equipment.
o Adhere to HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) standards and company safety protocols.
o Ensure compliance with local and international codes (e.g., ASME, API).
o Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment performance, and spare parts inventory.
o Prepare reports for supervisors and participate in audits.
 
Desired Candidate Profile
Minimum Requirement
o Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
o CMMS proficiency 
o Minimum 5 years of experience with Bachelor’s in Engineering & 10 years’ experience with Diploma in Engineering
o Must have at least three (3) years’ experience in operations & maintenance within oil & gas industry
o Knowledge of HSE standards and regulatory requirements.
o Work Order Management: SAP PM, job planning, resource scheduling.
o Pipeline Maintenance: Welding, pressure testing, pipeline operations.
o Emergency response planning.
