Job Description
Basic Function:
 
The Senior Administrative Assistant is responsible to perform a variety of administrative support duties for the department including screening calls, welcoming visitors, making arrangements for meetings or other appointments and assist in the day-to-day administration of the department in accordance with Company policies and procedures.
 
Worked Performed:
 
Serve as a liaison with other departments for day-to-day administrative and operational procedures.
Provide administrative support for the department such as answering telephones, welcoming and directing visitors, and resolving and/or referring a range of administrative problems and inquiries. 
Schedule and coordinate meetings, events, interviews, appointments, and/or other similar activities for the department, which may include booking room facility, coordinating and lodging other arrangements.
Operate personal computer to compose and edit correspondence and/or memoranda.
Archive and maintain the confidentiality of departmental files, databases, records, and/or other documents; retrieve files and when required and according to Company policies and procedures.
Sort, screen, review and distribute incoming and outgoing mail.
Support the department in printing, photocopying, scanning and faxing documents as required.
Assist in preparing ad-hoc, internal and external reports as requested by the department. 
Receive and distribute mail and other documents as required.
Perform other tasks and duties that may be from time to time required in order to meet the requirements of the role and the aims of the University.

Minimum Requirements:
 
High School Diploma.
Preferably three years of relevant work experience as a receptionist, administrative assistant or related field.
Computer proficiency/skills.
Fluent in English; Arabic is preferred.
