Basic Function:

 

• Erects and dismantles independently scaffolds and stages using the suitable safety harnesses. 

 

Work Performed:

 

• Erects and dismantles independently scaffolds and stages with scaffolds tubes, wooden and metallic planks at any height.

• Familiar with the different types of scaffolds and their components.

• Carry out hanging scaffold.

• Familiar with the scaffold tools, PPE and Safety harnesses.

• Knowledge of reading drawings and Capability to do measurement and to calculate the required scaffold material (Quantity) for each job.

• Familiar with rigging and slinging application. 

• Preserves the scaffolding materials and checks the condition before use.

• Keeps work site clean and tidy.

• Carry out the necessary preventive maintenance for all scaffold components.

• Well awareness and adheres to safe working procedure.

• Performs other duties as instructed by his Supervisor.

 

 

 

 

Minimum Requirements:

 

• Secondary School Certificate preferable.

• 5 years’ experience in a large Fertilizer / Petrochemical / Power / Industrial Plant.

• Attended relevant vocational training courses (Holding relevant Industrial Training Certificate, Trade Test Certificate).

• Full understanding to the instruction in English language with capacity to speak, read and write in English.
