Job Description

JOB PURPOSE:
Lead the design, implementation and review of transformation initiatives applying change management and continuous improvement best practices in order to deliver operational excellence across the organization consistent with the strategic objectives of the distribution.
Manage critical/ high-priority initiatives, working directly with the Project Delivery team. Project manages from financial impact, strategic alignment and delivery point of view. Provide oversight and support to BAU projects, monitoring progress and enabling with the right tools and methodology.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Lead project planning process by establishing change charter, project plan, communication plan, steering and working committee groups, stakeholder list, budgets, measurable deliverables, KPIs, etc. are ensuring to define and agree with key stakeholders.
  • Take a leading role in the Company’s project management and planning processes and managing dependencies across the divisions and the consolidation of all project related activities.
  • Lead, execute and support projects ranging from mid-sized process improvements to major business transformation initiatives based on project management practices and quality, time and budget standards.
  • Co-operate with functional colleagues to ensure that the business process designs are optimised and will meet end user needs from a process, technology and people perspectives.
  • Ensure operations processes follow established policies as well as regulatory and best in industry standards.
  • Perform post project reviews with stakeholders to ensure that changes have successfully been executed and that approved budgets have been adhered to.
  • Supervise the Project Manager for implementing and maintaining document storage system that will contain all documentation for all projects and which can be readily and easily accessed by stakeholders in the company.
  • Prepare presentations, and story boards for Department Manager review based on data analysis related to growth and expansion plans, new product launch, product profitability and performance.
  • Monitor and analyze monthly financial results including Gross Margin, OPEX and EBITDA across all commercial business and product lines and provide reports for Department Manager review.
  • Keep up to date on current and evolving operational excellence trends which could make a material improvement to business performance, e.g. digital developments such as predictive analytics, RPA, Blockchain.
  • Produce regular reports for Project Sponsors, ELT and VP Corporate Excellence giving updates on current projects and for future projects that have been submitted for evaluation, as appropriate.
Desired Candidate Profile

Minimum Qualification

  • Bachelor Degree Business Administration or equivalent preferably Master of Business Administration.

Minimum Experience & Knowledge & Skills

  • 8 years of experience in project management applications (Primavera, MS Project.) leading corporate excellence projects
