ABOUT THE JOB:

Cooperate with Petroleum Development for optimizing the value of oil and gas fields' production and reservoir recovery through the introduction of real time dynamic modelling and effective monitoring to achieve balanced injection and production processes. Work with Petroleum Development to use smart well completions and improve.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Report and update with the Drilling and well operations activities related to the Biogenic Shallow Gas project to ensure conformity with plan and program
• Lead and direct the Drilling Integrated Project Management teams of the assigned service companies to execute Exploration Biogenic Gas wells in line with the plans.
• Endorse and approve the Drilling programs, well plans provided by the LSTK/IPM teams and endorse and approve the AFE for the subjected wells.
• Define the Full Field Development Plans and the exploration requirements through working closely with the Petroleum Engineers, Reservoir Engineers and Petrophysicists.
• Advises as necessary the Exploration Function in all drilling related matters in terms of planning, well prognosis and technical requirements.
• Plan, supervise and coordinate all activities in the assigned area to meet functional objectives.
• Train and develop the assigned staff on relevant skills to enable them to become proficient on the job and deliver the respective business objectives.

Minimum Experience, Knowledge & Skills

• Minimum 8 years related experience in Drilling / Workover Engineering and Operations.
• Previous experience with the OPCOs, preferred in UAE.
• Experience preferably both from rig activities both from offshore and from the office.
• Experience in Drilling new technologies (UBD, MPD,CTD , and ERD)
• Professional user of any drilling software, Landmark package is preferred.
• Experience in business planning (Wells and Drilling Operations).
• Proven track of leading drilling teams either operations or engineering
