Job Specific Accountabilities but not limited to
• Use a variety of hand and pneumatic tools and testing equipment, including digital voltmeters, recorders, meggers, pneumatic calibrators etc.
• Perform skilled work related to the installation, servicing, calibration, repair and testing of control instrumentation, including control valves, pressure, temperature and level controllers and electronic, pneumatic or liquid-filled flow meters.
• Calibration of sophisticated pneumatic and electronic control instrumentation of any type
• Assist in complex trip test functions requiring thorough knowledge of trip sequences, process fault finding etc.
• Carry out all work in strict adherence to Company's Standards, Codes and Practices and work permit procedures
• Select and use the correct tools, maintenance and test equipment for specific jobs, such as pneumatic and hand tools, measurement and testing equipment etc.
• Ensure proper housekeeping in Plant areas, assist in preparing data sheets showing work completed etc.
• Identify, select and ensure the correct application of spare parts and materials such as electrical, sub miniature, hydraulic parts, mechanical parts etc. requiring a good working knowledge of the material management system
• Coordinate with other Technicians from other disciplines to ensure proper maintenance and to resolve process and instrument related problems
• Provide job direction and instructions to fitters and helpers for assigned tasks
• Implement and comply with all relevant functional policies, processes, systems, Quality standards, procedures, to accomplish operational objectives.
• Provide on-the-job Training to meet Competency Based Training programs for UAE Nationalization.
• Maintain all tools, safety gear and equipment provided by company safely and in working condition.
• Arrange for repair or replacement of any tools and safety gear that may not be in good working condition.
• Contribute to the identification of areas and opportunities for continuous improvement in the operating procedures, modification of functional processes, machinery or equipment.
• Carry out all maintenance jobs in line with assigned time standards.
• Inform the Maintenance Supervisor in case additional resources are required to carry out the job within the assigned time frame.
• Comply with relevant HSE policies, procedures & controls and applicable legislation and sustainability
• Maintain the work environment clean and tidy before, during and after executing the job, in line with established standards of Hygiene and Housekeeping.
• Collect technical data from the field as required and provide inputs to prepare Section progress reports for Company Management.
• Provide input for the preparation of Method statements and initiate Near Miss reports.

Minimum Qualifications
• Secondary Technical Certificate/Diploma in Instrumentation.
• 4 years’ experience in the operation and maintenance of pneumatic and electronic instrumentation in the Oil & Gas or Petrochemical industry
• Professional in English Language ( reading, writing and Speaking )
• Valid Certificates manadatory
