Job duties but not limited to

• Preparing all tools/equipment’s for the scheduled job. This includes machining keyways and Flanges as per requirement and machining gears in central workshop. 

• Ensures that work is carried out in accordance with the Company's standards, codes of practices. 

• Modifies and Progresses the manufacture of any special clamps or tools required for the job. 

• Ensures good house-keeping practices including cleaning and lubricating machines as necessary in working areas. 

• Carries out similar or related duties as assigned, such as reading engineering drawings and sketches and capable of sketching and drawing in order to progress the manufacture of engineering parts. Continual checks on housekeeping and work safety. 

• Safeguard own Health and Safety, as well as that of the fellow employees, by paying attention to safe work practices, maintaining a safe work environment and complying with applicable HSE requirements. 

• Take action to INTERVENE and STOP any un-safe activity or non-compliance with HSE requirements,

• if witnessed, and report the incident – regardless of your position or that of the transgressor 

• Has daily contact with immediate work associates of other departments, contractors in giving and receiving technical information.

• Good understanding of Quality Standard codes compliance and capable of resolving safety issues. 

• Knowledge of the approved methods, material, tools, occupational hazards, proper safety precaution required at the work and equipment utilized in mechanical maintenance. 

• Ability to read engineering drawings. 

Minimum Qualifications

 

• Technical Diploma or Secondary School Certificate with a vocational trade certificate in the relevant 

field of mechanical maintenance. 

•  4 years of experience, in maintenance technical services preferably in mechanical. 

• Professional in English Language ( reading, writing and Speaking )

• Valid Certificates mandatory
