Job Description
Duties but not limited to
- Define scope, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with business and technical stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, risk registers, and issue logs.
- Proactively identify risks, dependencies, and variances; develop and implement mitigation plans.
- Provide regular project updates to PMO, Steering Committees, and Executive Management.
- Act as the primary point of contact between business owners, technical teams, and vendors.
- Facilitate effective communication and decision-making across internal divisions .
- Support contract and procurement alignment
- Ensure stakeholder expectations are clearly defined, documented, and managed throughout the project lifecycle.
- Oversee third-party vendors and ensure deliverables meet contractual and technical requirements.
- Coordinate resource allocation across multiple projects to optimize performance and minimize conflicts.
- Monitor vendor SLAs and report deviations or non-compliance to the PMO Manager.
- Ensure deliverables undergo proper quality assurance, testing, and user acceptance validation.
- Support post-implementation reviews and lessons-learned documentation.
- Drive continuous improvement in project management practices and templates within TSS.
- Provide periodic project status reports highlighting progress, issues, and key metrics.
- Contribute to PMO dashboards, KPIs, and portfolio-level reporting.
- Ensure financial tracking aligns with approved budgets and procurement frameworks
- Manage end-to-end project execution, ensuring adherence to timelines, budget, and quality standards
Desired Candidate Profile
Minimum Requirements:-
- Masters and Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related discipline.
- 8–10 years of progressive experience in project management, with at least 5 years in IT or digital transformation environments.
- Proven experience managing multiple, concurrent projects in complex organizational settings.
- Exposure to both agile and waterfall methodologies, including hybrid project delivery models.
- Experience in government or education sector projects is an advantage.
- PMP, PRINCE2 Practitioner, or Agile Project Management certification required.
- Familiarity with MS Project, Azure DevOps, PMO365, or equivalent project management tools.
- Knowledge of ITIL and COBIT frameworks preferred.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills with the ability to manage cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Analytical mindset with a focus on delivery, quality, and continuous improvement.
- Proactive risk management and decision-making under pressure.
- Commitment to governance, transparency, and structured delivery processes.
