Job Description

Duties but not limited to 

  • Define scope, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with business and technical stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, risk registers, and issue logs.
  • Proactively identify risks, dependencies, and variances; develop and implement mitigation plans.
  • Provide regular project updates to PMO, Steering Committees, and Executive Management.
  • Act as the primary point of contact between business owners, technical teams, and vendors.
  • Facilitate effective communication and decision-making across internal divisions .
  • Support contract and procurement alignment
  • Ensure stakeholder expectations are clearly defined, documented, and managed throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Oversee third-party vendors and ensure deliverables meet contractual and technical requirements.
  • Coordinate resource allocation across multiple projects to optimize performance and minimize conflicts.
  • Monitor vendor SLAs and report deviations or non-compliance to the PMO Manager.
  • Ensure deliverables undergo proper quality assurance, testing, and user acceptance validation.
  • Support post-implementation reviews and lessons-learned documentation.
  • Drive continuous improvement in project management practices and templates within TSS.
  • Provide periodic project status reports highlighting progress, issues, and key metrics.
  • Contribute to PMO dashboards, KPIs, and portfolio-level reporting.
  • Ensure financial tracking aligns with approved budgets and procurement frameworks
  • Manage end-to-end project execution, ensuring adherence to timelines, budget, and quality standards

Desired Candidate Profile

Minimum Requirements:-

  • Masters and Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related discipline.
  • 8–10 years of progressive experience in project management, with at least 5 years in IT or digital transformation environments.
  • Proven experience managing multiple, concurrent projects in complex organizational settings.
  • Exposure to both agile and waterfall methodologies, including hybrid project delivery models.
  • Experience in government or education sector projects is an advantage.
  • PMP, PRINCE2 Practitioner, or Agile Project Management certification required.
  • Familiarity with MS Project, Azure DevOps, PMO365, or equivalent project management tools.
  • Knowledge of ITIL and COBIT frameworks preferred.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills with the ability to manage cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Analytical mindset with a focus on delivery, quality, and continuous improvement.
  • Proactive risk management and decision-making under pressure.
  • Commitment to governance, transparency, and structured delivery processes.
